I'm trying to find a book that I very foolishly (very small f there) sold or gave away years ago. Of course, I remember neither the title nor the author!
The book was a very basic investment book, written in the late 70s or more likely the 80's. The concept was pretty simple, invest 30% in treasuries, and the balance in stocks (using a sort of cross between Lynch, Buffett, and O'Neil (buy what you know, local companies, etc at great prices). His advanced methodology involved using margin to buy mutual funds for extra kick.
Anyway, the only physical thing I remember is that I BELIEVE the cover (not the jacket) was yellow. Standard hardback and book size, not terribly thick (less than 200 pgs, as I recall).
If you have any idea of the title of the book I'm seeking, please let me know!
