A guy I worked with once said he was dead-set against having dog-races in our area because most people would just gamble away their paychecks, leaving their wives and children to go begging. I asked him how he knew this... and what made him think this -- especially since HE wouldn't gamble his paycheck away -- and he just looked at me with a blank stare.
So I'm wondering how you know that most people are not disciplined enough. If you are, why wouldn't others be?
TV says "7 out of 10 families carry large CC balance" <G>
maybe one or two of those (7) are going through a rough patch and have no choice;
maybe 1 of the other three would be in deep debt if they hadn't already ruined their credit.
so that's 6 out of 10 spendthrifts <g>
...WAG -- anyone coming here for suggestions is likely to be in the 4 of 10 with some discipline. [vs those of us here to give suggestions ]
