Maybe I'm a worry wart, but to me that's not even remotely close to enough to retire on. I'd consider that enough to last a few years in between things, but certainly not enough to retire on. Kathleen It all depends on how much you plan on spending and a great deal on where you live. I am seeing retired family members comfortably living on less than $50,000. They own their homes. They don't have debt. They don't travel much, but mostly it is because they have no desire to travel. Debra |
