Theater of the absurd:
I do love what passes for reporting. The claim (I've heard it before) is that by promoting the film industry in Michigan and retraining workers, 6000 there will be 6000 new jobs.
Reporter forgot to mention how many auto industry jobs have been lost to provide a little context.
And let's suppose all the states that are losing jobs decide to offer incentives to the film industry. Or even if they don't, how many movies a year can be made? Who is going to watch and pay for them?
Good example of "new and better jobs" and why we are in deep doo doo.
