Mmmmm. It was just a year ago that we got a taste of what happens when that faith in what the government calls "money" gets shaken.
Gold and silver coins --- even those minted hundreds or thousands of years ago, retain purchasing value.
One wonders how long the tokens we use as coinage, or the electronic dollars we have in bank accounts will retain their purchasing power.
My, it will be a MIGHTY crash when they fail!
