i was taught that 'billy and i went to the movies' is correct usage.
yet, more and more i hear people saying 'billy and me....'

is our language changing, or have i gotten it wrong all these years?

and in that same vein: you knock on a door. the person inside asks
who's the answer 'it is i' or is it 'it's me'

thanks for your advice.
