I heard on the radio that the majority of teams that win game one go on to win the series. If that's true, then I would say any "opening game factor" would have to factor favorably. Technically teams that win game seven always win the series but I know what you mean and I agree. Winning the first game has basically neutralized the Yankees home field advantage. If Pedro can, for one night, pitch like its 1999, the Phillies can think about ending it in Philadelphia RayKinsella |
