You're not married. You have no kids. I know you're not getting older; you're getting better; but what are you saving it for?
perhaps there's a different way to look at it?
For me personally, it's not a matter of saving it for someone/something. It's just that I don't need that much.
I live the lifestyle I want to live, NOT the lifestyle that my income would potentially allow me to live.
Anything over the cost of my life style is basically 'excess' and goes into savings. I don't feel any compulsion to spend just because I can.
