spinning Are there any bond funds that create a perpetual ladder, buy and hold to maturity? You would have to find a managed fund, most likely a CEF. Even if we did find a managed fund that managed a perpetual ladder it would not behave within our portfolio the same as holding bonds directly; its NAV would be reset at the end of business every day. What the fund would do is manage turn over which may decrease our feass, although passive funds are pretty cheap. Without really digging into these I don't know if there would be a significant change in capital gains reporting. jack |
