I'm in the sixth year of having a self directed IRA. I bought a condo in a Colorado ski area and have been able to put about $20k into the IRA each year by renting it out short term. I would definitely recommend this route to anyone with enough money in their IRA. No way I could have made this much money in the mutual funds the IRA was in before switching. |
