I am still new on option. I try using synthetic long on HAS as follows:
sell put Jan 2011 at strike price of $42.50 for a paid premium of $7.20
buy call Jan 2011 at strike price of $40.00 for the cost of $5.50
The above prices are based on the Motley Fool Option Chain.
I recently sold HAS at about $40.00 with a gain of about $8.00 I really want to own Hasbro for the long term.
Any advice or help will be greatly appreciated.
