Elite Liberals cannot get over that x has more than y, and don't really seem to get that x may have more than y, but y has quite a lot in the United States.

And lack of insight.
who recalls when people thought "elite" was a good thing, as in "elite runner," and is saddened by the rejection of quality by modern polemicists, who prefer instead to embrace the more familiar quality of mediocrity . . . .
and who thinks Mr. Tinker has handled "x" and "y" pretty well, but has left out 24 other letters, including Haiku's favorite: "A" (an "elite" letter) . . . .
