This is an interesting and exciting story. Provided, of course, that it moves out of the lab. http://www.comcast.net/articles/news-science/20110124/SCIENC... I would love to know how a gene like this took "life" in the first place. If it turns out that this gene is, in fact, a sort of "master switch" for metastasis then knowing the origin would be useful.
