I sent a reply via email instead of posting here. Sorry if I overstepped.
We enjoyed Maine. We met an old friend for lunch on Thursday and shopped in Kittery (a big outlet town on the coast) and then did that in Tilton, NH on the way home Friday, too. We bought some fabulous bread at "When Pigs Fly", a great bakery place that offers samples of all kinds of breads in its shops in several towns in Maine and NH. One was a breakfast loaf of walnut, orange and cranberry bread -- delicious toasted! The other was a spinach and garlic bread that will make fantastic sandwiches.
We got home Sunday about 5:30., tired but happy. Now to crank up my TurboTax and tackle the taxes (ugh) and start yard work, with the better weather starting to show up. (We do still have some snow here and there, believe it or not.)
