AJ, Thanks for your reply, but the semantics "trading flat but nonetheless paying interest" are a sophistry I'd rather avoid, especially when their "normal" bonds offer better effective yields than the hybrids. I remember looking at Entergy's bonds a couple years back when they were more attractively priced and backed away then, too. Maybe it was a mistake, maybe not. There are only so many hours in a day one can give to analysis. So things fall through the cracks. Charlie |
