By the way, unlike the national average just seen on the news, Vermont's home prices have basically held their own, and have actually RISEN a bit recently, mainly because they never really tanked in the first place.

Oh -- and Vermont's unemployment? Last time I saw that mentioned on the news, I think they said it was about 5.6 percent. How's that? Better then the national average, by far! No, not all the jobs are high paying, but some are.

Vermont is a bit more stable than some of the other states. "Boring", maybe, in some ways, but not a bad place to be!
