"1) Wisconsin severely limited collective bargaining for public unions - except for police and firemen.
2) Ohio totally eliminated it, no exceptions.
3) Michigan got a law that allows the governor to march into any municipality that they deem to be failing and appoint an administrator that overrules the elected officials."
Great...the vast 'majority' of Americans are tired of coddling unions that are bankrupting cities left and right.
Central Falls, RI just went bankrupt. Their state doesn't have a way to handle it. I feel sorry for the folks of that city that have no services now.....no one can get paid....the city went broke....unions busted the bank.....
It's the retired UNION TYPES who keep bringing this up and the fact that cities can't afford gold plated salaries and pension plans way out of whack with the private sector is irrelevant to them. They just want more and more and more taxpayer money funneled to gold plated public sector employees.
