Yes, and they routinely spend $50 or more to fill the tank on the latest batmobile. Of which they may have fleets of 3 or more. People who are working are not hurting. The upper middle class still buys their iPhones and pay hundreds per mo for electronics services. But if you fall off the wagon life can be pretty tough. Still we live in a wealthy country. Look around you at all the houses valued at a quarter million or more. Where do these people get the money? Usually a lifetime of working, saving, and paying their bills. The less fortunate continue to struggle. |
