next year, i'll have out-lived my dad and both granddads ..

by my calculations i have money to last till 84 ..hoping i'm at least a little conservative <g>

A few years ago The New York Times had an article on longevity research. It said that the general consensus in the field is that the correlation between lifespan and genetics is pretty weak.

In fact, beyond some of the more obvious things you can do to prolong your life, the most important variable seems to be luck.
