Interesting, but it's not quite the same thing the Times article examined.

This study looked at a group of people living beyond age 95, so it's a study of outliers. It's quite likely that a few people are genetically predisposed to live a long time, just as others are genetically predisposed to die at an early age of heart disease.

For the other 98% of us it may not be so clear.
