I see our case as so good, I'm wondering what I did wrong. You know what I mean?
The problem is that your step-daughter married a jerk.
Most judges in Small Claims are accustomed to people without experience in the law. They generally give them a break. (I'm talking in general terms, just in case you get one of the other kind). And I think a lot of them enjoy smacking down debt companies whenever possible.
Other than that I can't help you. But be on time. The judges really get annoyed when people are late.
if you're early you'll have to wait, if you're late they'll have already called your case.
