Is there any way to pay DS's last two years of tuition without pulling cash out of the IRA? Do you know the amount of the tuition you will need to pay and what your tax liability will be on that cash?

Who encourages you to avoid pulling out of the IRA, even if you don't have to pay a penalty, if you can avoid it but if you have to, strongly recommends saving up the cash for the taxes because if you don't need it, you still have the cash to make an IRA contribution to make up for the retirement savings you've lost...
