Whew! Finally got the advance planning/reservations done. Here's the itinerary:

6/10 Leaving Home (SC Lowcountry)
6/10 Columbia SC--sightseeing with a Fool, Sesquicentennial SP
6/12 Athens GA--(ditto), Victoria Bryant SP
6/14 shopping for awesome smoked pork products in Madisonville TN, then crashing at a Knoxville super wal-mart
6/15 Edgewood KY (Cincinnati burbs--visiting IRL BFFs)
6/19 Kankakee State Park IL--see Midewin Tall Grass Prairie
6/21 Madison WI--shopping, crash at Camping World or Home Depot
6/22 rural eastern WI--visiting a Fool and Collins Marsh
Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum, Two Rivers WI en route to...
6/23 Ellison Bay WI--photographing scenic Door County (hubby), taking an art class (moi), Wagon Trail CG (pvt and more expensive than our usual, but very convenient to The Clearing for my class)
6/30 Stevens Point WI--visit IRL friend
7/2 Bay Furnace CG, Hiawatha National Forest, Michigan Upper Peninsula, right on Lake Superior (hope to rent a kayak or canoe), Whitefish Bay Scneic Byway
7/6 Straits State Park at the Mackinaw bridge--ferry to Mackinac Island, Mackinaw City, Soo locks
drive cherry tree trail en route, see cute towns like Charlevoix
7/9 Interlochen State Park MI--peformances at Interlochen Arts Center, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Traverse City, pick-your-own farms
7/16 Amish Country, northern IN--haven't settled on a cg yet...any suggestions?
7/18 one-nt stands at a couple of corps of engineer & national forest campsites in KY so we can arrive early at the first-come, first-served...
7/20 Cumberland Gap National Historic Park
7/22 Asheville NC--maybe this time we'll visit the Biltmore Estate, somehow I'm never in the mood while RVing ;-) probably try for a cg along the Blue Ridge Pkway instead of the pricier pvt CG we like here-- (Campfire Lodgings).
7/26 Home again--in time for the Olympics on July 27

Any suggestion of things to see or do along the route? We're interested in a great variety of things, from museums, restaurants, hikes (not too strenuous at our age), bird-watching, gardens, odd-ball things very specific to a locale. We love live, local music at non-fancy venues (not into real loud, live hard rock so much any more, but we enjoy most kinds of music, from highbrow to ole time fiddlers, jazz, Native American, folk, country rock...). If you live along the route or will be camping near us and want to meet up, if we can, I'd love to.
