The week after memorial day we wre in Canyon Lands NP and went on three hikes 1. 11 miles from the camp ground in the park to Peek-a-boo springs. 98 degrees, hotter in the in canyons. Each of us drank a gallon on the hike, and about a gallon when we got back to camp. Hot and dry 2. Elephant Hill parking area to chesler park - detour halfway to Druid Arch. 6 miles, 100 degrees, drank just as much water 3. Slick rock trail, cave springs, pot holes - only around 4 miles total Fun trip Squaw Flat Camp Ground - 38.1436N 109.8W Peek a boo Springs - 38.1149N 109.794W |
