Would I be allowed to have an opinion and debate with facts, or would I be declared a war-monger and sent to the corner?
I am not the one that used the war analogy.
I am for some reform. I do think some teachers and organizations are . . . politically deaf at the moment, and they aren't relating to what's been happening in the private sector or even in other parts of the public sector (state and local governments have laid off a ton of people in the last three years).
But you have often come on here and talked about how "easy" teaching is (in your mind) and how easy teachers have it and, "Why don't the teachers just do THIS?" That's why I say I'd like to see you in a classroom.
And when you rant about "the unions". . . "the unions" are the teachers. When you attack the unions, you're attacking the teachers.
