Well, I've been called more than a few things in my life, but that's what most people I know call me. My actual complete name is in my profile:
A really close beautiful lady, both inside and out, from Taiwan that I've known for around 30 years seemed to have a bit of a hard time pronouncing my real name, Robert Folkerts. Somehow, the Os sounded like Us and she dropped the Ts, L and S. She once told me, "No way I gonna marwy YOU! No way I gonna be Mrs. ..., Rubber ...." Well, you probably get the picture... Bob works pretty well, though she mostly only used my nickname when she was trying to make a serious point with me.
She's really a pretty accomplished chef and restaurant owner. Reviews of her restaurant and her personality usually tend to be pretty high, especially when she prepares things not on typical American Chinese restaurant menus: https://plus.google.com/118306080685020804550/about?gl=us&am...
