We are playing Tennessee and the score right now is UGA 27, TN 10, so yipee! But we are early in the 2nd Q. Still. Georgia is certainly looking good. Seven of the TN score was a defensive interception TD from a tipped UGA football.
Anyhow, the real reason I decided to post right now is this amazing final score from the other famous GA college team. Maybe some of you won't care or don't know, but generally a team like Ga. Tech doesn't lose by so much to a team like Middle Tennessee State University. Maybe there's more to MTSU than I thought, but their only loss this year so far is to McNeese State - who? I don't know if it was Bear Bryant, Vince Dooley or someone else who said basically, 'any team on any given day can win the game.'
Middle Tennessee State vs. Georgia Tech 2012 final score: Blue Raiders shock Yellow Jackets, 49-28
The Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders pulled off a major upset as they went into Bobby Dodd Stadium and handily beat the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Saturday afternoon, 49-28. The game was essentially a back-and-forth affair in the first half as both teams went into the intermission tied 21-21.
