Well, finally bought the behemoth on sale for $30. I wanted to see how the story ended. Poorly. I played on normal because I wanted to keep the flow of the movie. Didn't work. Insta-kills and other assorted stuff that requires the player have ESP occurred so that constantly jolted me out of the immersion. It's a shame. I like the characters. I suppose the story though was okay. I then played some special ops. Great fun solo and must be a blast witha buddy. But that got boring... Then I tried some online. I like the maps. I really do. They make the BF3 Close Quarters maps tiny (which they are) so it seems MW has gone bigger with their maps. I like that. But what a foul mouthed community. And then the technical issued came in. Since there are no servers we are reliant on everyone's connection to one of the players computers. Well that works as well as advertised when there are Aussie's up for a morning shoot. Lagalicious. Anyway, worth the $30 for completions sake but I won't be playing it much online. Simon |
