I think he's highly intelligent. He doesn't think (or speak) in sound bites, but in nuance.
He's highly motivated (had to work his butt off to get to Harvard).


Based on what? His undisclosed school records?

I've run across plenty of "ivy leaguers" in my career. Overall unimpressed. They tend to live in academia/ivory tower and have little to no relation to the real world. They speak in theories but can't put them to work.

As far as speaking in nuance, probably all politicians do it to some degree. Its the equivilant to a verbal rorschach test, every one interprets what they want it to be. So you can be all things to all people.
