Corning (GLW) restarted its dividend payout in 2007 @ 5c/sh. The company had suspended
its dividend payout back in 2001. GLW just announced another dividend bump, from 7.5c => 9c/sh.
A five year payout streak might not mean much to some, but to me it does. The company
restarted its dividend right before the financial meltdown, and has since grown the
dividend about 12% annually.
