Dividend adjustments (up or down) are just a part of the current investment environment.
I had one investment idea, NGP Capital Resources (NGPC) slash its quarterly dividend from
18c => 12c at the start of the year. It bumped the dividend up to 13c the next quarter, and
another bump to 16c most recently. NGPC is a business development company (BDC) that
focuses on the energy sector.
Corning (GLW) just announced a dividend hike, 7.5c => 9c
I trimmed a shipping position, Ship Finance International (SFL) because I think there might
be a dividend cut.
Trying to stay nimble.
