I don't use the Twitters, but I understand the the # symbol before a word or phrase designates a specific Twitter page, right? But I'm seeing people stick a # before all sorts of stuff now.
For example, Joe might post the following on the Facebooks:
One too many beers last night! LOL! #Joeisveryhungover
As if the last part is his Twitter page specifically devoted to this hangover. Except it's not really very clever or funny.
