Thank you for you replies. I really appreciate the feedback.

Q1 - No I would not buy the stock again. For one of the stocks I honestly love the idea but i don't think it will pan out (UPZS)
Q2 - I do have realized capital gains but are less than $1K which should offset because losses are more than $2K
