Shopping for best buys on groceries works only if (1) one's local grocery stores are reasonably close together; and (2) the price of gasoline isn't sky high--which it is now. It works for me. (1) The four major supermarkets within walking distance of me are all within two to three blocks of each other; and (2) I walk on those errands, so the price of gasoline is irrelevant. |
