Is Schedule M still operative? I looked on the IRS site and could only find it for 2010. But I'm filing a 2011 return (with extension). Can Schedule M still apply? If so, can I use the form from 2010? What type of return are you preparing? My guess is you're talking about an individual 1040. Schedule M was for the making work pay credit in 2009 and 2010 only. http://www.irs.gov/uac/The-Making-Work-Pay-Tax-Credit Other types of returns have a different schedule M relating to different tax topics. |
