I would absolutely believe them. They certainly know themselves better than I do. And I don't pass judgment on people for that kind of thing. Maybe you do. I don't. I pass judgement on people not telling the truth - which is exactly what this guy was doing. He didn't come out as gay - he came out as a liar. So it's hard to say he lost 95% of his "friends" for coming out as gay - because that's assuming his friends all believed he was really gay. Maybe some didn't and some learned or assumed he was a liar. |
