"If so, that may up the odds for delaying SS being a good decision." - alstromeria How long do you think you're going to live? That is the main thing that decides when to take social security. It's a numbers game. Because if you all ready have health problems and people in your family don't live to be real old; you may come out better to go ahead and start at 62. I seem to recall I read that 84 years old is like the magic number you have to live to in order to come out better to wait till 65 or 66 years old. Art |
