What is a natural sweet alternative? It isn't Nutrasweet or Splenda.
Several other things we do. I have a sweet tooth myself...grew up with nightly indulges in cookies and ice cream until I realized refined sugars were contributing to the arthritis from my sport's injuries.
We buy big packages of dates. Dates are very sweet, keep a while in the fridge and work great as both sweeteners and fillers for things like pie crusts and smoothies. I make DW and I frozen coffee tasting smoothies on the weekends. It has a barley coffee flavor substitute, walnuts, dates, ground flax seed and ice.
I buy these raw energy bars in bulk, a case at a time. DW and I like to take them on long hiking/cayaking excursions.
