Four years ago many of those kids who voted this time were 14, 15, 16, 17. My birthday is at the end of November. I voted for the first time in a Presidential race when I was 21, almost 22. And every month for the next two decades, 50,000 Latinos will turn 18. I hope they are now life long voters for Democrats.

What the Republicans fail to account for is that every year more kids are able to vote; they go to college therefore Pell grants and low interest loans are very important to them. I even heard that some Republicans were talking about raising the voting age to 21 because they want to suppress the Democratic vote. The Republicans want to change their rhetoric, but they don't really want to change their policies to win the youth vote.
