Bank of America has been on a tear, calling in every bond they seemingly have ever issued. This is the third time in fewer months that I’ve been hit by a call from them. Sometimes, I’ve merely broken even on the deal. This time, I’ll make a few bucks, a YTM of 9.9% over what would been my projected YTM of 6.6%.

In a Fool article, Amana Alix questions whether BAC has become a buy. A quick read suggests she’s punting more than doing a through, actionable analysis. And I haven’t yet dug into their situation, either. But, clearly, something is going on that investors might profit from. They are clearing up their books and getting rid of debt. Why? Find the answer, and you might make some money.
