Or maybe put a lid on it...why buy it for more than WB is willing to buy it for? Maybe this is why the stock is languishing... This is a point that is raised with frequency. There may be something to it, but it's worth remembering that Buffett has said that he thinks Berkshire's fair value is considerably higher than 1.1 x book value. Usually, stocks hit fair value, either on the way down, or on the way up, once in a while. kelbon |
