As to Reagan, revenues went up with tax cuts. What also went up? Spending. Dems promised, like Obama is now said to be promising tax hikes NOW and spending cuts LATER. The Dem MO. Guess what? They spending cuts never came, if they had, the deficits would have been reduced.
Sure we on the right get tired of repeating the same facts, and the libs have an advantage, as they get to make up factoids and use them out of context, so their stuff stays fresh
But the truth is the above.
They want to go back to Reagan? That is fine, they should go back to that they were lying and deceitful back then and that is why there was a problem going forward.
Was Reagan wrong? Obviously he was, he trusted that Democrats when tehy give their word have some form of integrity.
