It is uncanny how many parallels our lives have. SpeedbumpMIL is on an extended visit from China, having lost her husband and parents recently. She is deaf in one ear and can't see well BECAUSE SHE REFUSES TO LET ANYONE BUY HER CURRENT GLASSES. Her other two kids can't stand her overbearing ways. She has her own PC upstairs for news and generally gets in the way all the time. She insists on hand washing all the dishes in cold water with very little soap, torched a microwave, hangs clothes outside to dry in violation of HOA rules, etc. Sometimes I fell like I landed on the set of the Beverly Hillbillies. -Wes |
