I agree on the garbage disposer not saving much time... that is really just a convenience thing to not have to clean out a strainer... anyone who puts much more then that down there is just asking for plumbing issues... We haven't had plumbing problems from using a garbage disposal. It is nice to not have food decomposing in the trash. Since garbage disposals don't cut (they mostly pound things into a mush), it is necessary to be careful about what is put through a garbage disposal. |
