Well didnt get to this one for a while, but you bought into the myth.... In 1970-1985 the US Forest Service not only paid for all their budget with timber sales, but sent a surplus back to the Treasury. Today, they suck money down like a vacuum, while the timber burns up. There is A LOT of simple waste, fraud and theft to suppress, and if you don't think so, you are not looking. Big and small. Medicare theft and fraud continues...last article I saw about it last month when they prosecuted a ring of Drs and estimated over $50 million in fraudulent payments, and they were still looking and counting. They expect they catch about 10% and I think that is optimistic. You name the crooked game and we the taxpayers fund it. And that leaves out intentionally sending money to foreign powers who have in so many words declared us to be the enemy in hopes that money will make us their friend...never works... the list is endless. Libya Egypt, Afghanistan, who knows maybe even Iran.

How about the tank sent to the little town in NH that doesn't need it? One councilman tried to send it back- he couldn't. Fleeced is bad, willful blindness is the worst.
