Unfortunately, people are subject to confirmation bias.
It is no secret that the human mind has been positively influenced through the years to seek affirmation to belief while ignoring evidenced to the contrary. Even Darwin admitted to such difficulty of reason.
A billboard would only incite a backlash. After all, what could you say that would be taken as anything but balderdash by the opposition?
Even this board, as much as it claims to be devoted to the scientific method, has shown a reluctance to engage in the idea (scientifically valid as far as science can go) of the fact that there is no evidence of free will- all the while never offering evidence to the contrary.
What one should do is to seek evidence that they are wrong. It isn't usually hard to find.
So let me ask you this-
Do you claim that your worldview is the result of your decision to know better?
Such a claim is unsupportable.
