So the adverts will subsitute more annoying sound for louder sound. One of the local hucksters here has really annoying ads. The sound level is no louder than the program, but you can tell from the sound of the announcer's voice that he is shouting. Get ready for klaxons, sirens and fingernails on blackboards. Meanwhile, the advertisers will go to court crying about "intrusive gummit regulation" that interferes with their "free speech rights". Steve |
