So the adverts will subsitute more annoying sound for louder sound.
It'll do'em no good in my house, I have a remote with a "Mute" button.
And unless they have interesting, to me, visuals I don't see the ads either since I'm playing solitaire on my Kindle.
Once again I'll say it:
The secret of success in business is providing what the customers want at a price they are willing to pay.
In the case of ads the trick is to get the prospective customers to pay attention (pun intended).
We've all stopped on the way to the kitchen to watch an interesting (to us) ad.
If only Madison Avenue could be creative enough to produce variations of that ad instead of replaying it until we're sick to death of it.
