Wendy, I haven't read that one but many know of it. Where I live, we are very blessed to have grass fed local beef. I like to spread that one around. Turns out that when cows eat grass like they are supposed too, they are high in Omega-3's, just like salmon. Many beef are fed anything that will make them fat. Anything. Corn is not their natural diet. It causes gastrointestinal problems that require antibiotics. I am in a region with many small dairies and ranches committed to natural food. I eat lots of beef and milk fat. My cholesterol is low, I am trim, etc. Make of it what you will. Edy....Redwood Coast |
