So we are flying from Denver to DC for the holidays. Three people, plus luggage. I have a friend from high school that I found again through Facebook and I only communicate with through Facebook. Today he posted that he (a heavy, heavy traveler) had a whole bunch of first class upgrade vouchers expiring at the end of the year, did anyone need them?
So now on the flight out, we are flying first class. That is about $1,500 right there, plus no baggage fees (another $150), and of course free drinks, free snack, shorter security line, etc.
Just thrilled because fitting a car seat into those little standard airlines seats is a pain, plus my husband is so tall he wouldn't be able to sleep comfortably (late night flight). So now I think all three of us will sleep better. (A will fall asleep once the plane takes off and he is watching some movies on the iPad.)
So happy! Merry Christmas!
